Nearing the End of Fall: Bike Ride in Stadtwald

While K was at preschool last week, Matt and I took a long-overdue fall bike ride through the urban forest, Stadtwald, right across the street from our house.  It was absolutely beautiful. 

You don't find the same wide variety of colors here that you find in trees in the US, but the reds and yellows are magnificent.

 We walked our bikes through a field and I quickly snapped the photo below of Matt.  The quality isn't very good, but if it were better I may not have caught this beautiful sunbeam shining right on him...
