I planned to leave on our third day in Paris around lunch time. Matt would be staying in Paris to fly a trip and Kellan and I would head back to Cologne. Our friend Tricia (she and her family had accompanied us to the Natural History Museum the day prior), generously offered to ride back with me so it would be smoother trip.
We decided to end the trip with a bang and got up early so we could take the stairs to the second level of Eiffel Tower. Though we hope to go to the top someday, we haven't had a day yet where there was time for that.
It was a much more difficult feat for Matt than it was for me, as he had Mr. K on his back. Being the stud that he is, he went faster than me going both up and down.
We took pictures once we arrived at the second level and the views were spectacular.
Pretty cool sky that day, too!
Once on the second level, we posed for a photo op...
...then scurried back down the stairs and hopped on a train to head back home. Super fun way to end a weekend trip to Paris.
