Grammy's Visit

And we're back.  I can't believe it has been nearly two weeks since my last post!  

The latter half of March and the first half of April have been fun-filled and busy!  Grammy came to visit for about two weeks - from about March 21st to April 3rd.  The next week was spent hanging out with friends we didn't get to see during those weeks and then last weekend we visited Paris again.

Grammy's visit was fantastic.  She helped out SO much with little K.  Though he wasn't quite sure who Grammy was when she first arrived, after about ten minutes he had this "A-ha!" moment and remembered, "It's Grammy!"  He couldn't stop smiling after that.  He even showed her his belly button a few times.  While Grammy and K got to catch up on lost playtime, I was able to catch up on housework, shopping and running sans 30lbs of baby+jogging stroller.  Matt and I had two or three date nights, too, which was awesome.  We had hoped to do some traveling, but some changes in Matt's schedule made that difficult - we will have to make up for it next time!

The weather was beautiful the first week Grammy was here, so we took advantage and visited the park.

 This toy is kind of a pully system that K finds fascinating.  Grammy was helping him figure out how it works.

 We miss Grammy already and look forward to her next visit.  In the meantime, K looks forward to their next webcam date.
