Hardly Feels Like Winter...

"One of These Things First" by Nick Drake

A couple of Christmases ago, Matt and I flew into Tulsa from Washington, D.C. on Christmas Eve.  We arrived safely, but we were the last plane to fly into the airport for the next three days.  A major ice storm hit literally thirty minutes after we arrived.  The weather this year, however, has been beautiful.  Tons of sunshine and highs rarely lower than the 40's have made for a lovely Oklahoma winter.  Hopefully it will stay this way until we leave for Germany (whenever that FINALLY happens...more on that later).

Kellan and I got out and enjoyed the fresh air yesterday.  I decided to dress him in one of the outfits that he got for Christmas and I must say, he looked dashing.  He just makes me smile...

The first place he went when he went outside was to pick berries off of a bush in the corner of the yard.  This is one of his favorite past times.  He picks a berry, he tries to eat it, I tell him to spit it out, he spits it out.  Repeat.  Repeat.  Repeat.  The berries aren't poisonous, but I figure he shouldn't get into the habit of eating berries off of bushes.  Mommies and their silly rules.  No fun.

After attempting to eat berries, he moved on to attempting to eat a stick.  Mommy took that away from him, too.  Lame.
We played chase...
 played with Zoe...
stared off into the distance, looking adorable...
...and contemplated the mysteries of the universe.
 Not bad for a Tuesday.
